Dracula-Ford's Theater Poster by 4gottenlore Dracula-Ford's Theater Poster by 4gottenlore
Ford's Theater Dracula Poster 1928.
Made minor changes from the original.

Artist of the original poster as far as I have been able to find was, Vernon Short, This was done for the Ford’s Theatre states performances beginning November 5, 1928, A Hamilton Deane theatrical adaptation of Dracula, the part of Count Dracula was likely played by Raymond Huntley as Bela Lugosi played the role on Broadway before being given the film role.

I found an origanal in great shape. it was behind an old print that I bought at an auction, Dracula is green. The top portion was cut off so the Fords theater nov 5 is missing. I would sell it if any one is interested. I am glad that I found your site so I could figure out where my poster came from.

That is one of the best renditions of Dracula I have ever seen.

I love how the poster has almost NOTHING to do with the show.

yeah looks like an aquatic monster
but that's the real poster from 1928 movie
the blood should come from his mouth, not just wet the monster's chin
and I suggest you to replace the colour of the blood with the same colour of it's eyes' edge
as the blood become focal point of this monster
I like the idea of remaking the old movie poster... one day i would too
for now I am concentrating in recolouring old photos, it's an interesting work yknow
keep up the good work!!!

Wonderful poster, the information is well organized and it's pretty clean. Though the Dracula look s a bit "aquatic monster". Still pretty cool!

This looks really cool but I think you could have put some more effort into the blood or just leave it away.

Greetings!
